BangkokFor those who live in, or have visited, one of the largest urban areas on this planet, might agree that the skyline of these cities is stunning. With 14.5 million people living in the Bangkok metropolitan area, Bangkok is a city that lives, and which has a lot to offer, from little local style eateries and pubs, to international cuisine and lifestyle bars.

For those, who want to enjoy Bangkok’s stunning skyline view, enjoy some of the best cocktails, in a climate which makes it pleasant and inviting to be outside during the evening, three skybars make all of this possible. Yes, there are more skybars and bars in general in Bangkok, but I have been in these three bars, and can recommend it to those visiting Bangkok.

Red Skybar

The Red Sky Bar is located at the Centara Grand at CentralWorld, and offers visitors a stunning 360 degrees view over the roofs of Bangkok. The menu is fairly extensive, and the service welcoming. Due to the wind at the rooftop, it is delightful to see how the waitresses walk backwards to serve the guests their drinks. Additionally, with changing light colors on the facade, this sky bar give a very lounge like feeling.

Located on the Sofitel Centara Grand, is the Bluesky. The Bluesky offers a magnificent view at a an even more magnificent location. Located at the 24th floor, the lounge offer a loft style ambient to its guests, with a view over Bangkok downtown area. With an excellent service, the beverages served are both classical and individually created.

Baiyoke Sky Hotel

The Baiyoke Sky Hotel is the tallest tower in Bangkok. The Baiyoke Sky Hotel offers various stunning views and options, such as a Sky Coffee Shop on the 18th floor, the Bangkok Sky Restaurant on the 77th and 78th floors, and Chrystal Grill on the 82nd floor, and finally the Rooftop Bar on the 83rd floor. The view is somewhat dazzling, but it is a perfect place to chill out and relax, looking down on the hectic of Bangkok’s streets.
